CIT-GSS510 - This Slitting Saw Spindle fits a standard milling spindle position. It is an effective way to produce deep slots in the ends of a workpiece. Features a 13mm diameter arbor and can hold a max diameter saw of 50mm. Speed ratio is 2:1 for increase power delivery. Program speed is calculated by doubling the desired speed. This spindle takes up two gang slide positions. |

This Whirling unit uses (6) triangle indexable form inserts each with 3 cutting edges. The cutter centerline is approx. 10mm from ref. Note: Both whirling units require two positions on the gang slide. Also, slight modification to the gang block is required to allow clearance. |
